Kii THREE für den professionellen Einsatz

Die Kii THREE bietet einen linearen Frequenzgang, eine perfekte Impulsantwort sowie exakten Phasengang. Außerdem packen wir pro Speaker 1500 Watt auf sechs Treiber verteilt in ein kompaktes und transportables Gehäuse. Die Kii THREE kann einiges an Luft bewegen und bietet erstaunliche Pegelreserven, aber damit nicht genug. Die wohl beeindruckenste Entwicklung von Bruno Putzeys für die Kii THREE ist die Active Wave Focusing technology, die die Abstrahlcharakteristik des Lautsprechers kontrolliert und damit die Schallausbreitung dahin lenkt, wo die Schallenergie benötigt wird: In den Sweetspot! Durch intelligentes DSP Processing erreicht die Kii THREE ein gleichmäßiges, nierenförmiges Abstrahlverhalten bis hinunter in den Tiefmitten und Bassbereich, was anderweitig nur durch perfekt entkoppelten und aufwendigen Wandeinbau der Lautsprecher erreicht werden kann. Dieses kontrollierte Abstrahlverhalten ist der Hauptgrund weswegen ein großes Main Monitor System in einem gut geplanten Raum so beeindruckend klingen kann. Auch wenn diese Problematik Akustikern und Lautsprecherdesignern hinlänglich bekannt sein dürfte, so hat sich bisher niemand so umfassend der Lösung dieses Problems gewidmet wie die Kii THREE. Unser Augenmerk lag bei der Entwicklung vor allem auf den Herausforderungen der typischen akustischen Situationen im heutigen Studioalltag. Die Kii THREE läßt sich problemlos überall aufstellen und ist für alle Aufgaben die passende Monitorlösung. Es ist wirklich das erste „Mini Main Monitor System“. Now that I have had a good amount of time with my Kii Three monitors, I have to say I’m a bit blown away.

Never had monitors so instantly translate, never had monitors where I didn’t have to guess with the low mid and sub, and I have never had monitors that reward a good mix as much as these.

This is the first time I find myself listening to music in the studio, rather than it just being a workplace.Yeah they aren’t cheap, but I also haven’t had to spend any money on treating a room I likely won’t be in long term.

On top of that, I do use them for work, and the Amphions these replaced were my set for 7 years or so. I trust these will serve me at least as long as those.

"I really love the Kiis because I can hear the subs, rather than only feel the subs like on other speakers. Working on the Kiis completely changed the way I think about mixing. I can use the Kii Control to calibrate to a fixed listening level so that I never get ear fatigue. The booth houses a Wendel & Lung upright piano with a clear line of sight to the mix position and exterior windows.A 32 I/O Pro Tools HDX2 system with an exhaustive list of plugins runs tirelessly on a Mac Pro 6.1 dustbin or, for the analogue fans, a 3M 24-track tape machine and oodles of classic compressors.
